Abstract
The author of the article shows the foreign experience of franchising, the basic problems of the development of franchising in Russia and proposed solutions. The basic driving forces of the growth of this area of economic activity in Russia in 2008-2013, analyzes the main trends in the development of franchise operations in different areas of business and identified promising opportunities to solve them.
